Membership
AIRMIC (The Association of Insurance and Risk Managers) has nearly 1000 members and represents the buyers and risk managers of about 75% of the UK FTSE-100 group of companies, as well as very substantial representation in the FTSE-250 and other smaller companies.
We welcome applications from people who would like to join the AIRMIC community, participate in our activities and support efforts to promote risk managers.
To be eligible, all applicants need to fall under one of the following:
• Manager or head of risk management/insurance department in industry, commerce or the public sector
• Other members of such department
• Those who have responsibility for risk management/insurance but is not their full time job
• Those who are full time teachers of risk management/insurance in an academic institution
Membership is not available to any individual or company which:
• Is in the business of selling insurance, legal or risk management services outside its group
