  6. 3. AIRMIC Academy is planning training on the following subjects over the next six months. Please advise if you would be interested in any of these courses.

  8. 4. Much of AIRMIC's activity is driven by members' committees. These meet between two to four times per year and provide excellent insight into industry issues and good networking opportunities. If you are interested in joining a committee please indicate

  9. Programme Committee - the committee oversees the annual conference, risk federation events, the annual dinner, regional & networking events, plus training for members.
  10. Membership Committee - the committee maintains an overview of membership numbers and member benefits, including the website, AIRMIC News, Special Interest Groups and partner events.
  11. Insurance Steering Group - Promotes the effective use of insurance through discussion and influence, as well as producing guides and advising on the role of insurance as a risk financing mechanism. If also represents the interests of buyers of insurance to the insurance market, regulators, opinion formers and the Government.
  12. Risk Management Steering Group - promotes best practice, including enterprise wide risk management, integrating risk management into business processes, risk reporting, research and benchmarking.
  13. External Relations Steering Group - Provides strategic direction and focus to AIRMIC's relationships with other organisations such as trade associations, professional and governmental bodies and regulators. Oversees AIRMIC's sponsorship arrangements with Partners and Service Providers.
