New look fastTrack returns in 2021
fastTrack, Airmic’s professional development programme primarily for members in the first four years of their career, will have a new look in 2021 and be accompanied by updated reading materials.
Although targeted at those early in their risk and insurance professions, the programme is open to all members who would like a refresh their knowledge and skills or develop in specific subjects. .
There are three streams to the programme – risk, insurance and professional skills – and sessions will continue to be delivered online given current restrictions. fastTrack is supported by Willis Towers Watson.
“While we miss the in-person benefits of learning together, the move to virtual sessions in 2020 enabled more members than ever before to take advantage of the fastTrack course,” said Adam Ireland, Airmic’s learning and development manager.
“We have a varied programme already in place for 2021 and 2022, ensuring that our members are well equipped for the challenges that lay ahead of them.”
The new fastTrack webpage and brochure will be published shortly, while the popular Airmic EXPLAINED Guides are in the process of being revised to support the programme. In 2020, Airmic launched updated EXPLAINED guides on Captives and Managing Risk.
The next fastTrack webinars are on Insurance purpose, principles and practice on 2 February, 10-11am and Risk management principles and practice on 9 February, 2-3pm.
