This session provides an overview of key considerations in working with data and information securely including understanding the threats, data authentication and encryption, legal requirements and compliance, training and awareness, data security assessments and audits, and data incident response planning.
By the end of this session, you will be able to:
• Learn actionable skills to enable the protection of your data both at home and in the workplace from threat actors.
• Be aware of the types of security incidents that a business in financial services is most likely to encounter.
• Identify a process for notifying the relevant internal stakeholders in the eventuality of a cyber incident.
• Understand the key threat actors which are most likely to attempt to steal data from a financial services institution.
