We are looking for an experienced Operational Risk & Insurance Manager to join our Group team in Ely, Cambridgeshire.

Reporting to the Group CFO as Risk & Insurance Manager you will have strong working relationships with the internal stakeholder group, including site teams across the UK and some interaction with colleagues across the globe.

Leading on all aspects of Insurance within the Group, including management of the renewals processes, providing guidance on claims and supporting the business with incidents and investigations as well as managing insurer and broker relationships.

You will lead in developing an annual risk process for company boards, supporting the ongoing usage of the Risk Management Framework within our business units and work with the business to embed risk management and business continuity planning processes.

Supporting the CFO with governance, ensuring the businesses are compliant with policy and legal requirements and act as the primary contact for data protection to provide guidance and support.

This role has management responsibility for one member of staff, providing day to day management as well as training and development support.

Candidate Requirements

  • Experienced Insurance professional.
  • Previous experience in farming or manufacturing industry is highly desirable.
  • Operational insurance experience.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Diligent, Accountable & Reliable.
  • People management experience would be desirable.
