Annual conference – the 2014 event takes shape as exhibition stand space sells out within a fortnight.

The 2014 Airmic annual conference is already taking shape, with all stand space sold out just two weeks after becoming available. Among the speakers lined up are Michael Woodford, the former Olympus president and CEO turned whistle-blower, who sounded the alarm over a £1.1bn fraud at the Japanese camera and optical instruments company.

The insurance forum is also in place, with another cast of top executives: David Batchelor of Marsh, Andreas Berger of Allianz, Mike McGavick of XL, Philippe Rocard of AXA and Mike Hammond of Lockton. The session will be chaired by Insurance Insider editor Mark Geoghegan.
