Airmic has announced the first details of next year’s fastTrack Forum, a one-day conference for people new to the risk profession.
The conference, to be hosted at the Willis Building on February 23, will focus on the business skills needed for future risk leaders.
Lloyd’s CEO Inga Beale will deliver the keynote address on ensuring that risk and insurance remains top of the agenda in organisations. The day will close with a speech on the importance of self-promotion.
Chair of fastTrack, Stephanie Parker, said they have acted on feedback from the first Forum to make sure next year’s event is even more successful: “It’s shaping up to be a really exciting day with a fantastic line-up of speakers. Having someone as successful and well-respected as Inga Beale is a real testament to how far fastTrack has come.”
She added: “It’s so important for FastTrackers to take part in workshops and discussions on current risk management issues, to hear from leading individuals, and, most importantly, to network with their peers. We’re looking forward to welcoming new and existing FastTrackers to what is bound to be a thought-provoking day.”
The programme will also include an industry panel discussion and a series of workshops on the following topics:
