Advisory Council meets for first time in March
Airmic has created an advisory panel of external industry experts to help shape the association’s strategy. The Advisory Council will meet to discuss high-level issues impacting risk management, businesses and the global risk environment, and look at how Airmic can and should respond to support its members.
The group will meet two or three times a year and will consist of four members of the Airmic secretariat and up to ten external members. The group met for the first time in March, and included Lord Tim Clement-Jones; Howard Kerr, CEO of British Standards; Sian Fisher, CEO of the Chartered Insurance Institute; Janet Legrand, senior elected partner at DLA Piper; Eamonn Cunningham, non-executive director and retired chief risk officer of Westfield.
The meeting was joined by Richard Sermon, Director of The Chairman’s Forum who shared his thoughts on the report Ensuring Corporate Viability in an Uncertain World published by The Chairman’s Forum with Cima, Alvaez & Marsal and Airmic
