Airmic board member Tracey Skinner has won the award for Outstanding Contribution by an Individual at the UK Captive Services Awards. The annual event, held in London and organised by Captive Review magazine, aims to celebrate excellence in the captive insurance industry.
Explaining why Skinner, director of insurance & risk financing at the BT Group, received the most prestigious award of the night, the judges said: “Tracey Skinner has proven herself to be among the most hardworking and diligent risk managers in the United Kingdom.
“Having joined the BT Group in 2012, she has overseen and managed a number of key and high profile risk management developments at the group and worked closely with its Isle of Man captive. Tracey is generous with her time and expertise, always willing to share her experiences with peers in the risk management industry.”
Skinner commented: “I was absolutely delighted to receive this award. There is a lot going on in the captive space at present and I enjoy contributing to the debate as I navigate the best way forward for BT.”
