In a signal that it is to increase the focus on enterprise risk management, Airmic has unveiled plans for an ERM Forum in the autumn. It is the first dedicated major event on this topic the association has ever held.

Although valuable as introductions for inexperienced risk and insurance managers, they also contain a wealth of information and insights that make them relevant to all levels of member, as well as for other business stakeholders who have an interest in these subjects. Airmic has published a clause, drawn up by law firm Herbert Smith Freehills, to protect policyholders who innocently breach the duty of fair presentation introduced by the Insurance Act.
