BBC news anchor Huw Edwards will be chairing the Leadership Debate Panel at the annual conference in Birmingham this June, Airmic has announced. The Leadership Debate is one of the most high-profile sessions of the conference, and sees a panel of well-known industry experts exchange views on the challenges of today’s insurance market.
This year’s panel line-up includes Vincent Vandendael, chief commercial officer, Lloyd's; Mark Weil, chief executive officer, Marsh UK & Ireland; Gaëlle Tortuyaux, chief executive officer, AXA Corporate Solutions UK Branch; Paul Goulding, head of insurance, Heathrow Airport; and Chris Brown, partner, Lockton Companies LLP.
Registration for the annual conference, the highlight of the risk management calendar, opened last month. Airmic events manager, Susi Ozkurt, said they have had a record number of registrations in the first week. The association announced last month that BBC journalist and broadcaster Andrew Marr will be giving the closing keynote speech.
