Jackson Reforms 2.0 - An overview

Airmic members will be familiar with the Lord Justice Jackson’s 2013 reforms, which significantly changed the civil litigation process and the way insurance managers handle claims. Jackson has made further recommendations which build on the original changes, in particular:

• Extending fixed recoverable costs to all fast track claims
• Introducing a new intermediate track for claims valued under £100,000
