Airmic is pleased to announce that the Institutes – North America's leading provider of professional development courses for risk managers – and the Japanese tech giant Fujitsu have joined the association as sponsors. The Institutes are becoming Education Partner, whilst Fujitsu are Technology Associate Partners.
The collaboration marks a new development for Airmic as it seeks to promote the professional development needed to guide risk managers through the rapid technological change engulfing industry and commerce. The tie-up with Institutes will give members at all levels and stages of their careers access to a variety of courses, programmes and professional development opportunities. Fujitsu, meanwhile, bring their cutting-edge technical knowledge to the table, helping the association and its members as they embrace the opportunities and challenges of the fourth industrial revolution.
“We are delighted to have two very different new sponsors, representing as they do best of breed in their own fields,” said CEO John Ludlow. “Organisations need to change to remain relevant, and this is why we are so pleased to be making these big moves into professional development and technological understanding.”
Airmic represents around 1,200 members. Its conference The Future is Now takes place in Liverpool June 21-23.
