He is a prolific writer, commentator, and public speaker who never fails to challenge the status quo and seek better ways of working to deliver competitive advantage and a superior customer experience throughout the entire claims value chain.
Hélené Stanway
Hélène is an award-winning and highly effective insurance leader with a proven track record in emerging technologies, innovation, operations, data and change. Hélène has led several notable initiatives such as the Global Health Risk Facility, the Digital Risk Engineer and Insurwave for AXA XL. She helps companies in the global insurance market embrace change to achieve their desired strategic goals, improve processes, increase efficiency, and deploy relevant tools.
Hélène’s desire for transformation is seen in her roles as a Non-Executive and Coaching Director at EDII, and the President of SENSE Consortium. She works towards advancing women in the industry through mentoring and participates in the Insurance Breakfast Club to support and accelerate female career progression.
Greig Anderson, Partner, Herbert Smith Freehills (Moderator)
Greig is a partner in the Insurance & Professional Risks team at Herbert Smith Freehills. He specialises in insurance disputes assisting policyholders on claims and coverage issues in relation to all types of insurance and reinsurance. He has particular expertise on disputes and advisory work in relation to cyber and technology incidents and leads on the insurance aspects within our global cyber practice. He is individually ranked in both Legal 500 and Chambers for insurance litigation for policyholders, as well as in Legal 500 for insurance and reinsurance disputes.
Rachelle Waxman Sacks, Senior Associate, Herbert Smith Freehills
Rachelle is a Senior Associate in the Insurance & Professional Risks team at Herbert Smith Freehills. Rachelle has a breadth of experience across the insurance industry predominantly acting for policyholders in relation to coverage claims. She has acted in relation to a range of policies including cyber, public liability, product liability, PD/BI and D&O, and has a particular interest in AI and technology in the context of insurance.
Nigel Davis, Technology Director for Risk IQ, Risk Analytics, Climate and Innovation, wtw
Nigel has worked at WTW for 25 years in a wide range of analytics-focused technology roles. For most of his time, he has supported the evolution of predictive risk analysis in Willis Re and Corporate Risk and Broking (CRB). From 2014 onwards, Nigel supported the CRB R&A function in partnership between actuaries and technologists, building a scaled suite of predictive and risk analysis tools supporting broking placements and risk consulting work. Nigel also leads the Work and Reward technology and data proposition which gives a unique purview of data and technology across the insurance and human capital businesses, and also supports the technology agendas of the WTW Innovation and Acceleration capability, including WTW’s emerging AI and Generative AI initiatives.
