The objective of Airmic Friday Reading was initially to keep members informed during the Covid-19 pandemic. Today, Airmic Friday Reading has evolved in scope to include content on a wide range of subjects with each email edition following a theme. In addition to the more in-depth Global Risks Perception Survey, a critical foundation of the Global Risks Report, data presented here is from a single question in the World Economic Forum’s Executive Opinion Survey. 12,361 executives from 124 countries around the world were asked to give their opinions on the top critical short-term threats to their country, out of a total list of 35 risks.
