Airmic is offering members two very different field trips in the coming weeks, starting with a visit to Virgin Atlantic at Heathrow Airport on 18 November.
Airmic has teamed up with Virgin Atlantic to provide another fascinating event as part of our suite of member Field Trips this year – this time with a focus on aviation risk.
Free to Airmic members, the full-day Field Trip is set for 18 November at Heathrow Airport.
It will include a welcome to Virgin Atlantic and its history and operations, and a visit to the renowned Engineering Hangar in the Academy of Engineering Training to see one of its aircraft.
There will be a range of presentations on topics such as legal, safety and security, process mapping and optimisation, ESG and the future of aviation.
“Our Field Trips are open to all Airmic members, regardless of their level of experience,” said Adam Ireland, Head of Learning at Airmic.
“This event will be suited particularly for those with an interest in aviation risk,” Adam said.
“These trips are designed to provide a face-to-face experience and to take our members out of their usual work place,” he added.
Up to 12 places are available and these are provided on a first come, first served basis. Members will be expected to cover their own lunch and travel costs.
To secure your place, email fieldtrips@airmic.com by 4 November 2022.
