Airmic has again secured annual accreditation from the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) for its programme of events, and learning and development opportunities for Airmic members.
The CII accreditation will be applied to those Airmic events and learning sessions with a specific insurance focus.
This includes one of Airmic’s newest events – the annual Captives Forum, on 21 March.
For those whose certification falls under the control of the CII, this will also include the Island of Ireland Forum planned for October. For those who require accreditation by the Insurance Institute Ireland, details of this accreditation (which will involve an increase in eligible hours compared to the 2022 event) will be announced nearer the date of the Forum – we are in discussion with the Institute locally about this.
Other elements included within the CII Accreditation are the Airmic Academy sessions, the fastTrack programme and associated Forum, Airmic webinars (previously Airmic LIVE), Field Trips and the Annual Conference in Manchester.
“This is an important badge of endorsement from CII, requiring Airmic to meet rigorous standards in its learning delivery,” said Adam Ireland, Airmic’s head of learning.
“Members will start to see the CII Accredited mark appear alongside relevant events and sessions as the year progresses,” Adam added.
